In todays lesson, we incorporated our book, The Magic Maple Tree, that was written with my four kids right under our own backyard tree! As a response to literature, learners had fun brainstorming ideas for what the tree would grow next. They took their ideas back into the classroom, as authors and illustrators themselves! ❤️🍩✏️📚
