Charlotte’s Web Book Study & County Fair!
Hi Mamas! When I was in the second grade we read Charlotte’s Web By E.B. White as a class read-aloud and took a field trip to watch the movie in a theatre! That book changed reading for me forever, and it’s a childhood memory that I carry with me still.
I believe in creating deep, meaningful lessons in learning that will change the way a student thinks, making reading and writing fun, and creating lifelong memories they will carry in their hearts forever!
In that vein, I hosted a Charlotte’s Web County Fair/ Farm party to celebrate this beloved book and all of our learning together this year! 🍭🍿🐑🐰🐷🦄🐔🐐
We love bringing books to life for our learners, and we had so much fun wrapping up our school year with a fantastic fair/farm party in recreating the last chapter of the beloved classic Charlotte’s Web going to the fair!
Our learners got to learn fun facts about each of the animals at our petting zoo and enjoyed feeding and petting them! ❤️🐑🐐🐷🐰🐔🦄
Today we celebrate “Friendship” one of the most important themes in our book study, but we also celebrate all of the new and old friendships forged here in the Schoolhouse! ❤️
Here in The Little Red Schoolhouse, we are a family of writers coming together in fellowship and community to home skills, learn and grow together!
We are so grateful for ALL of our friends. Thank you for joining us on all our adventures in learning! 💖💕
U is for unicorn! 🦄 🌈
The students loved all of the animals at our petting zoo, but I have to say that the white pony dressed up as a unicorn doning flower garland, horn, and glittered hooves made all their unicorn dreams come true!🌈🦄
