Students had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year (year of the pig)! We read Chinese New Year books and wrote all about Chinese customs. Students worked on fine motor skills using chopsticks and making Chinese lanterns. We also celebrated with long noodles for a long life, oranges for a sweet life, and fortune cookies and ‘hong baos’ for a lucky year!
