O is for Octopus

Hi mamas,

We just spent a week with an octopus here in The Little Red Schoolhouse!

Students loved learning, reading, and writing all about these fascinating sea mollusks’ 9 brains, 3hearts, and secret weapons that help them fight off predators.

Multi-sensory learning at its best when students got to touch a real octopus while dipping it in paint for a octopus impression.
