Frida Kahlo Lesson!

Hi mamas,
Frida Kahlo is one of my favorite lessons of the year. The students and I always look forward to “Frida week!” We love learning about Frida’s fighting spirit and bravery in overcoming life’s obstacles, as well as her amazing talent!

Pre-k and TK friends had fun creating Frida portraits, drawing their feet just like Frida did while bedridden, and making flowers of their own. 🌸🎨🌼

Here in the schoolhouse we LOVE bringing books to life for our learners with engaging lessons! In this art history lesson, our students enjoyed dressing up like Frida and creating beautiful portraits of their own.
