We’re counting down the days to Christmas in the Schoolhouse!

Advent Wreath Making Workshop

We had our annual mama/child Advent Wreath Making Workshop!

We had so much fun & fellowship in diving into this lesson together! We learned all about each weeks’ theme, the symbols of advent, and prepared our hearts for the coming of our savior! 🌟

Crafting these beautiful wreaths is always the icing on the cake.

We love creating memory-making workshops for our learners and their families!

Schoolhouse Christmas

This year’s theme is Gingerbread Land!

We decorated our tree with gingerbread men and gingerbread houses, we’re diving into a gingerbread study writing gingerbread acrostic poems, and using all of our senses to explore this gingerbread theme!

We’re also writing and wrapping our Dear Santa letters to ship off to the North Pole, and learning all about Hanukkah!

Gingerbread Study

We are SO excited about creating the ultimate Gingerbread Study experience for our learners!

Building gingerbread houses has been a favorite family tradition in my home for many years, and we are now bringing that to our students! ❤️🏠

In using geometry skills they navigate their structural renderings, write out their action plan, and add all of their beautiful details. From exterior shutters and lights to door knockers, potted plants, and doormats. They thought of everything!

Our little learners bring their gingerbread dream houses to life with their creative imaginations and a little help from moms & dads! They turned out amazing!

Sparkling Citrus Slices
