Gingerbread Study 2024

Hi mamas,

We kicked off one of our favorite Holiday themes, “Gingerbread Land”!

We rolled out homemade gingerbread playdough letters & sight words, learned the history behind gingerbread, crafted acrostic poems, and brought our architectural plans to life through decorating gingerbread houses! We had lots of fun in learning with this theme!

From using all of our senses in writing gingerbread poems, to creating blueprints of our own with our Gingerbread House STEM activity, there was no shortage of fun during Gingerbread week here in The Schoolhouse!

Our mamas joined us during class to help their child bring their architectural renderings to life! It’s always so much fun seeing each students’ creative imaginations at work!
