National Donut Day!

Hi mamas,

How did you celebrate National Donut Day?

We had lots of fun hosting an intimate backyard author visit sharing our book The Magic Maple Tree, enjoying a fun read-aloud, and of course enjoying donuts with this amazing donut wall!

We hosted a lively read-aloud learning about seasons, days of the week, counting and math skills, and so much more!

After our read-aloud, students enjoyed trying their hands as writers and illustrators themselves responding to our open ended writing prompt and drawing activity!
