Pumpkin Lesson at the Schoolhouse

With a variety of different pumpkins learning about words that describe “adjectives” has never been so fun for our k-2nd grade learners!

With our “pumpkin study” students are able to have memorable hands-on learning experiences... which makes for great writing!

Kinder-5th grade students learn the anatomy of a pumpkin through dissecting a real pumpkin, making scientific observations, logging their findings, and estimating how many seeds are in their pumpkin!


Pumpkin Phonetics

 

Pre-k-kinder learners practice creating their letter “P’s” (starting at that top) by having fun with mini plastic pumpkins, and pumpkin seeds reinforcing this important skill!
