A is for Apple!
Hi mamas,
We kicked off the A is for Apple study lesson with an apple taste test and designing apple boats with our STEM journal.
Sink or float STEM activity
Learners created their own boat designs, and performed a sink or float test to learn about mass, density, and weight through our apple boats! Kinder friends learn capital and lowercase letters with our A-B-C cards, while working on fine motor and brainstorming letter “A” sight words!
Making text connections is easy and fun while learners explore sight words, math concepts, counting, and a STEM activity in constructing apple towers like the characters in our book “Ten Apples Up On Top!”
Join us for fun and easy apple core crafts you can do at home with your kids while working on fine motor skills!
To complete our Apple study lesson, learners baked homemade apple pie in a sheet pan, and we had as much fun making it as eating it! There is so much we can learn through baking together! Math & science concepts like measurement, weight, and how many apples it takes to make a pie. As well as important life skills in taking turns, patience, collaboration, and teamwork!
