After an inspired reading of Snowman At Night, little learners create snowmen of their own and write about their nighttime adventures. 📚📝☃️
Students loved reading the wonderful Caldecott medal winning nonfiction children’s book ‘Snowflake Bentley’ about the amazing Wilson Bentley who dedicated his life photographing and studying snowflakes! After our reading, the students crafted snowflake poems using their own creative adjectives and verbs to describe their snowflakes, and got to create snowflakes of their own. ❤️📚📝❄️
Students are having so much fun diving into these great snow-themed books 📚, dressing up for a Southern California snow day of their own ☃️, making snowball soup and snowmen❄️, and having a real snowball fight just like the characters in these great books! 📝⠀
